How Could I Jump Higher and Run Faster?

I’m willing to do anything, to jump higher, see my team came first in foot-ball tournament I’m the defensive captain i realized that the ball never gets thrown to my side of the field, always to the other side of the field, and opponent usually catch it.

    Usually speed and jumping gains go hand in hand. They both rely on explosiveness. The best training has to be customized to fit your strengths and weaknesses. If you lack strength, then hit the weight room and start doing squats. Strength is the first step. Otherwise you can use plyometric drills, which train the stretch shortening cycle. Powerlifts like clean and snatch are valuable to. I’m guessing you know what those are since you play football. Like I said though, the training needs to be customized.     For your jump I recommend leg weights, squats, and also if you really want major improvement get some sort of jump workout program (there are some that are legit and you can gain almost a foot on your vertical if you’re lucky). As for speed, the leg weights can also help with that, however, you can try sprints and distance runs which will increase your overall stamina and speed.
